Take two university-level humanities subject sessions at a free Cambridge taster day, alongside a student panel and lunch with information stands. Optional college tours let you speak with current students about studying humanities at a selective university.

Closes in 17 days

The University of Cambridge is hosting a free Humanities Exploration Day for Year 12 students, with places also open to higher attaining Year 11 students who are planning to study Arts and Humanities A-levels. The day is designed to give students a taste of university-level teaching across a range of humanities subjects, helping them enrich their current studies and think about which subject may be the best fit for them.

Attendees will take part in a welcome session, a student panel, two subject sessions, lunch with information stands, and a wrap-up session. There will also be optional college tours afterwards, giving students a chance to find out more about Cambridge and speak to current students about studying humanities at a selective university.

Places are free, but students must apply for a place and explain why they would like to attend. A signed parental or guardian consent form is required. Individual students are asked to attend without guardians, while teachers should stay with school groups.

Participants should bring a packed lunch and arrange their own travel to and from the event.
