The Cambridge Colleges Open Day gives prospective applicants a chance to explore the University of Cambridge and find out what studying there is really like. It is designed to help students understand the application process, student life, finance, and what support is available across the Colleges.
Visitors can make the most of the day by attending information stands and joining college tours. The event is aimed at prospective applicants from the relevant school year groups in the UK nations, as well as mature applicants aged 21 or over, and families or supporters are welcome too.
Subject departments are not open during this event, and the usual admissions and finance talks are not delivered in person on the day. Booking is essential, and attendees should secure their place in advance through the booking form.

- Prospective applicants from Year 12 or Year 13 in England and Wales, or equivalent
- Prospective applicants from Year 13 or Year 14 in Northern Ireland, or equivalent
- Prospective applicants from S5 or S6 in Scotland, or equivalent
- Mature applicants aged 21 or over
Free to attend, but booking is essential.
