Want uni without the cost worry? Apply for University College Birmingham Employers' Scholarships to secure tuition and accommodation support, connect with industry partners and build career-ready skills — making higher education accessible where it once felt out of reach.

Deadline passed 1 day agoCLOSED THIS CYCLEPrize: A full tuition fee waiver (value £29,370 across three years), a dedicated living bursary of £1,600 per year, fully funded accommodation in The Maltings halls of residence (value £5,628 per year), a £6,000 Cost of Living Allowance, and a Kick-Start bursary of up to £800 per year.

University College Birmingham’s Employers' Scholarships are a fully funded widening-participation package for undergraduates who live in areas of economic and social hardship in Birmingham. The scholarships are delivered with support from industry partners and are designed to reduce financial barriers to higher education for students who may otherwise feel university is out of reach.

Successful applicants receive a substantial support package that covers tuition fees and accommodation, alongside a living bursary, a Cost of Living Allowance and additional Kick-Start funding. In addition to financial support, scholars may also benefit from mentoring, work experience, interview preparation and, where possible, future job opportunities with employer sponsors.

Applicants are expected to demonstrate commitment to their chosen course and explain how the award would support their ambitions.
