Explore a brand-new campus with a student ambassador, then hear subject talks on Engineering, Robotics and Nursing. Meet students and staff, ask academics and support staff your questions, and get practical insight into campus facilities and student life.

Visit the University of Cumbria’s brand-new Barrow campus and get a feel for what studying there could be like. This open morning is designed for prospective students to explore the campus, meet staff and students, and find out more about the courses available.

It is aimed at school leavers as well as adult learners who are considering their next step.

The event includes subject talks that introduce course options in Engineering, Robotics and Nursing. You will be able to ask questions, hear from academics and support staff, and learn more about the teaching and student experience at the Barrow campus.

A student ambassador-led campus tour is also included, giving you practical insight into the facilities and what life as a student there is like.

If you are interested in accommodation, you can speak to the university’s accommodation team during the event. The campus is also close to Barrow town centre and within reach of the Furness area and the Lake District, making it a useful chance to see both the university and the surrounding area.
