University of Derby - Chesterfield Open Events

This Open Event at the University of Derby's Chesterfield (St Helena) site is an opportunity for prospective undergraduate students to explore whether studying at Chesterfield is right for them. Attendees can meet academic and teaching staff, learn about course options and entry requirements, and get a feel for campus life and the town where they might spend three or four years studying.

The event highlights the site’s strong health and nursing facilities, including a state-of-the-art Clinical Skills Suite, an NHS-standard six-bed mock ward and an Immersive Interaction Simulation Suite that provides 360° projections of working environments. Visitors can see these facilities in action and speak with staff about how practical training is delivered at Chesterfield.
