University of Derby East Midlands Degree Apprenticeships Fair

The East Midlands Degree Apprenticeships Fair is a National Apprenticeship Week event hosted by the University of Derby. It is designed to give students an insight into degree apprenticeships and help them make informed decisions about their next steps after sixth form or college.

The fair is aimed at Year 11-13 students, especially those thinking about university, apprenticeships, or careers in areas such as STEM, healthcare, business, and education. Visitors can explore an employer exhibition zone, speak with local and national employers, and hear from experts through talks and workshops on topics such as understanding degree apprenticeships, university routes, and apprenticeships alongside university study.

The event also includes campus tours of the Kedleston Road site and information stands covering admissions, student support, and degree subject areas. It offers a practical chance to ask questions, gather advice, and experience the university environment while exploring different career pathways.
