The University of Derby Schools and Colleges Liaison (SCL) programme offers a mix of virtual and in-person events designed to support school and college students researching and applying to university. The programme includes taster days (including Working with Children and Young People taster days for Year 12 and 13), an apprenticeship-focused event for students leaving sixth form or college, an exhibition (UK University & Apprenticeship Search fair), an Open Day at Derby campus, and a staff conference on progression.
Upcoming scheduled events include single-day in-person sessions and multi-day Discover Derby activities.
