Work through Python coding scenarios in a live problem-solving workshop led by a university computing lecturer. Practise core programming ideas, build confidence and get a taste of university-level Computer Science. Join online via Zoom and ask questions by microphone or typed comments.
This live, interactive Computer Science session is led by Dr Robert Blair, Lecturer in Computing Sciences in the School of Computing Sciences at the University of East Anglia. He will deliver a workshop focused on Python coding and problem-solving, using coding scenarios to help students practise core ideas and build confidence with programming.
The session is designed to support students’ current studies while also giving them an insight into university-level Computer Science. It is aimed at pre-university learners who are interested in the subject, but teachers and school staff are also welcome to join.
The event is run online via Zoom and is structured as a participative session rather than a recorded talk. Participants can join from school, college, or home, and will be able to interact through a microphone or typed comments and questions.
Slides will be shared where available, and full joining details are provided after registration.
