University of Essex Loughton Open Day

The Loughton Open Day at the University of Essex gives prospective students a chance to explore East 15 Acting School and learn what life at Essex is really like. Visitors can meet faculty and current students, tour the campus, and find out more about the programmes available at the Loughton Campus, including how they can support a future career in the performing arts industries.

Attendees can choose between a morning or afternoon session. The day includes introductory talks, course information, guidance on movement and voice, details of the audition process, and guided tours with a walking Q&A.

The event is open to undergraduates, postgraduates and family members, and visitors can book a place for themselves plus one accompanying guest. The event takes place at the main Hatfields site on Rectory Lane in Loughton, with access information provided for visitors arriving by tube or by car.

A travel bursary of up to £75 is available to help with travel costs, and participants can request additional access support through the booking form.
