University of Exeter Exeter Scholars

Exeter Scholars is a free programme from the University of Exeter that helps young people explore university life, build confidence in a chosen subject, and experience what studying at university is like. It is designed to give participants a clearer sense of whether university could be the right next step, while also helping them prepare for future study and applications.

The programme includes the chance to hear directly from current university students, learn from academics who teach and research at the university, and discover more about the impact of university research on everyday life. Participants can also make new friends and take part in activities that develop useful skills for their current studies and the transition to university-level learning.

Exeter Scholars offers fully funded residential events and regular campus trips, alongside continued support and online activities to complete in your own time. The programme is open to both South West-based and national students, with pathways beginning in Year 10 and support continuing through Year 13.
