Spend four weeks at the University of Exeter International Study Centre exploring international healthcare challenges and strengthening your English. The programme covers topics in global health, infectious and tropical diseases, public health ethics and the effects of climate change on disease.
Practical modules include basic parasitology, immunology and vaccinology; neglected tropical diseases; and evidence-based public health policy. You will gain hands-on experience with next-generation sequencing data, bioinformatic tools and laboratory visits.
The Summer School includes immersive field trips such as visits to a snake venom unit and research laboratories, plus project-based assessment (quizzes, class engagement and a short policy brief presentation). Teaching runs Monday 20 July 2026 - Friday 14 August 2026, with arrival on Saturday 18 July and departure on Sunday 16 August.

Total cost £3,500. Includes tuition, accommodation, teaching materials, social activities and a field trip. Airport transfer can be arranged at an additional cost. Cost does not include international air travel.
