Curious about uni life and lab work? Explore hands-on Geography and Biosciences sessions, use cutting-edge labs and practicals to build skills, boost your uni choices and connect with academics.

Experience a taster day at the University of Gloucestershire designed to give prospective students a feel for studying Geography or Biosciences at university. The event offers a chance to step into the role of a university student and experience hands-on, real-world learning in a campus setting.

Participants will be able to explore cutting-edge laboratory facilities and take part in practical sessions. The programme includes up to three sessions from a range of Geography and Biosciences topics, such as climate change, GIS, wildlife crime, DNA extraction, dissection, the immune system and other subject-based activities.

It is aimed at students considering these disciplines and wanting to learn more before applying to university.
