University of Greater Manchester Medical School - Virtual Open Days (Bolton)

Join the University of Greater Manchester Medical School for a series of virtual open days aimed at prospective MBChB applicants. Each session includes a welcome and introduction from senior leaders, an overview of the MBChB programme, details on curriculum and clinical experience, and an explanation of assessment strategies.

Presenters named on the page include Professor Iqbal Singh CBE, Professor Arpan Guha, Dr Gail Ferguson, and Professor Sanjoy Bhattacharyya. Attendees will hear about admissions and entry requirements from the Head of Admissions and School Registrar, view a virtual tour of the £40m Institute of Medical Sciences (including anatomy labs, simulation suites and the Royal Bolton Hospital site), and take part in a live Q&A with current students and faculty.

The sessions also cover tuition fees and scholarships relevant to UK applicants. The events are aimed primarily at students planning to apply for 2026/2027 entry, together with their parents, guardians and career advisors.
