Hear a current care-experienced student describe their university experience and get practical guidance on choosing a course, applying and finding financial, accommodation and wider support. Staff explain the £2,000 Care Leaver Bursary and year-round accommodation before a live Q&A.

This webinar is designed for care-experienced students who are thinking about applying to university and want practical guidance on the process. It aims to make the application journey feel more manageable by explaining the key steps and highlighting the support available along the way.

The session covers choosing a university and course, completing an application, and understanding the financial support, accommodation and wider help available to care-experienced students. Roehampton will also outline its own support offer, including the £2,000 Care Leaver Bursary and year-round accommodation.

Participants will hear from a current student about their university experience and have the chance to ask questions in a live Q&A. The webinar includes input from university staff with expertise in student recruitment and wellbeing, giving attendees tailored advice and a clearer picture of what support they can access.
