Explore undergraduate courses through faculty and subject talks, then join optional tours and drop-in sessions to chat with academics, students and subject representatives. Some sessions also include demonstrations or guided tours of facilities.
The University of Sheffield’s open day subject talks give prospective undergraduate students the chance to explore courses and programmes across the university. The talks are organised by faculty and subject, covering areas such as arts and humanities, engineering and computer science, health, science, and social sciences.
Alongside the subject talks, there are optional tours and drop-in sessions in a number of buildings, where visitors can speak to academics, students and subject representatives. Some sessions also include extra demonstrations or guided tours of facilities.
Visitors can book a place for themselves and one additional guest, and the talks form the fixed part of the open day experience.
