University of Sheffield Undergraduate Open Days 2026

The University of Sheffield is running a series of undergraduate open days across 2026 designed for prospective undergraduate students and their families. The open days include fixed subject talks (which you choose when booking), university-wide presentations on student life, fees and funding, accommodation visits, subject exhibitions and drop-ins, an information fair showcasing support services, and student-led tours of campus facilities.

You can also register your interest in undergraduate study to receive updates and guidance. The 2026 undergraduate open days are scheduled for Saturday 20 June 2026, Saturday 4 July 2026, Saturday 5 September 2026, Saturday 17 October 2026 and Saturday 21 November 2026.

Bookings for the June and July 2026 open days will open in March 2026; prospective attendees should book sessions via the University of Sheffield open day booking page. Other ways to explore Sheffield include weekly Sheffield Live online events, regular campus tours, and offer holder days for applicants who have received offers.

The Access+ Travel Bursary is available to eligible students to contribute towards travel costs for attending open days and offer holder days. Reimbursement is calculated by straight-line distance from the applicant's home postcode to the campus (S10 2TN), with contributions ranging up to £80 depending on distance.

Claims must be submitted via the online form within two weeks of attendance; refunds are paid into bank accounts approximately 5-6 weeks after claim processing. For enquiries, contact accesstravelbursary@sheffield.
