Thinking about starting a nursing, midwifery or healthcare course? The University of South Wales Nursing, Midwifery and Healthcare Open Day gives prospective students the chance to explore what studying in these fields could be like and to get a feel for life at USW.
During the event, attendees can meet lecturers, ask questions about courses and careers, and take part in hands-on activities in the university’s specialist facilities. The day also includes a tour of the Clinical Simulation Centre, guidance on student finance and NHS funding, and a chance to learn more about the support available to students preparing for a career in healthcare.
Refreshments and a buffet lunch are provided, and the university also signposts travel bursary support for attending the event.
