Explore de-extinction through a curated storytelling session focused on the thylacine. Respond to the stories, discuss what it means to remember a lost species or bring one back, and share your own creative work. Light refreshments are served.

Join the University of Sussex for an in-person gathering exploring de-extinction through storytelling, discussion and creative response. The event focuses on the thylacine, also known as the Tasmanian tiger, and invites attendees to reflect on what it means to remember a lost species, and what it might mean to bring one back.

The programme will feature a curated storytelling session, with opportunities for attendees to respond to the pieces, discuss the themes raised, and share their own creative work. Light refreshments will be served, creating a reflective and participatory atmosphere for anyone interested in conservation, biotechnology, ethics, and imaginative approaches to extinction and resurrection.
