University of Sussex Lewes STEM Festival 2026 - Celebrating 10 years

Lewes STEM Festival is an annual community event hosted by the University of Sussex that brings together researchers, universities, local organisations and families for a day of hands-on STEM activities. Visitors can explore interactive exhibits, activities and demonstrations, try science in action, and meet people involved in research across Sussex and beyond.

The festival is designed to be engaging and accessible for a wide audience, with plenty for children and families to get involved in. It is also especially relevant for GCSE and A-level students, who can speak directly with university students and researchers, learn more about studying STEM subjects, and explore future study and career options in science, technology, engineering and maths.
