University of the West of Scotland Undergraduate Subject Showcase 2026 - Dumfries Campus

The University of the West of Scotland’s Undergraduate Subject Showcase at Dumfries Campus is a chance to get an in-person feel for studying at UWS before the UCAS application deadline. It is designed for prospective undergraduate students who want to explore a subject and course of interest in a more personal, hands-on setting.

Visitors can find out more about their chosen course, take part in practical activities, chat with academics and current students, and ask questions about studying at UWS. The showcase focuses on Nursing, Social Work and Childhood Studies, giving attendees the opportunity to explore these areas and see what life as a student at the Dumfries Campus is really like.
