Robin Sundaram draws on nearly 40 years across food systems, supply chains and responsible sourcing to show how businesses turn sustainability ambitions into practical decisions amid commercial, environmental and social pressures. Join this free hybrid seminar in person or online; booking is required.

In this seminar, co-hosted by the Department of Environment and Geography and the York Environmental Sustainability Institute (YESI), Robin Sundaram explores how businesses can move from sustainability ambition to practical action. The talk looks at how organisations can make better decisions when commercial, environmental and social pressures come together.

Drawing on nearly 40 years’ experience across food systems, supply chains, responsible sourcing, community impact and capability-building, Robin shares practical examples from business and community work. The session is designed for alumni, staff, students and members of the public who are interested in how sustainability is applied in real-world settings.

The event is a hybrid seminar, with the option to attend in person at the University of York or online. Admission is free, but booking is required.
