University of York: Three Writers on Writing: A Conversation with Jerwood Fellows

This in-person lecture brings together writers Kym Deyn, Katherine Horrex and J. A. Mensah for a conversation about their experiences as New Writing North’s Jerwood Fellows.

They will discuss how they have developed their own practice, moved from debut publication towards new work, and navigated the publishing industry at an important stage in their careers.

The event is designed for anyone interested in contemporary writing and the realities of building a literary career. It is open to alumni, staff, students and the public, and forms part of the University of York’s open lectures programme.

The session takes place at the University of York and is free to attend, although booking is required.
