Join UWE Bristol for an online session exploring bipolar through lived experience, in partnership with Bipolar UK. The event begins with an introduction from Bipolar UK, which will set the scene by offering an overview of the condition and the themes for the discussion that follows.
A panel including a member of Bipolar UK’s peer support team and UWE Bristol staff will share personal experiences of bipolar. The discussion will look at how bipolar can present differently from person to person, challenge common misconceptions, and consider what kinds of support can make a real difference for individuals and communities.
The session will end with an open Q&A, giving attendees the chance to ask questions and deepen their understanding. It is open to all staff and students, will be recorded for sharing during the 2026/27 academic year, and includes captions through Microsoft Teams.
