Join West Midlands Police as a Vehicle Technician Apprentice and earn while you learn in a hands-on workshop environment based at Nexus Point, Birmingham. You will work alongside qualified technicians to diagnose, repair and service police vehicles (including light commercial vehicles and specialist police equipment), complete job records using fleet management systems, and learn manufacturer-standard maintenance procedures.

The apprenticeship includes day-release college training with City of Wolverhampton College to achieve a Level 3 motor vehicle qualification. Working hours are 36. 5 hours per week (07:30-15:30, Monday-Friday).

The role is a fixed-term training contract (42 months) and offers the opportunity to apply for permanent roles on completion, where available.
