Veritas AI Deep Dive: AI + Finance is a 10-week specialist track for high school students who want to explore how AI is used in financial markets, banking, and asset management. Students work online in live group sessions via Zoom, with a 5:1 student-to-mentor ratio, and build practical projects focused on prediction, risk management, and fraud detection.
Across the programme, participants develop predictive models for financial markets, apply AI methods to banking and wealth or asset management, and train models that identify fraudulent activity in transaction data. The track is designed for students in grades 9-12 who already have some Python experience or have completed AI Scholars, and it includes personalised mentor feedback.
Students who successfully complete a high school programme may also be eligible for post-baccalaureate credit through University of California, San Diego Extended Studies.
