This is a Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Service & Maintenance Technician apprenticeship with Volvo Truck & Bus based in Stockton-on-Tees (TS18 2RF). The programme starts on 3 August 2026, runs for 32 months (2 years 8 months) and is full-time (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm).
There is 1 vacancy advertised. As an apprentice you will learn to diagnose faults, service vehicles, carry out repairs and meet manufacturer and DVSA standards working on modern trucks, buses and coaches.
Training combines on-the-job practical learning with block-release study. Training provider Remit Group Limited delivers the academic elements; apprentices attend the Volvo Training Academy in Derby on block release (16 one-week blocks across the programme).
The employer provides full equipment and tools, and covers the costs of hotel, food, accommodation and travel for block-release weeks, so there is no cost to you. On completion you will achieve the Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician Level 3 qualification recognized across the industry.
Essential entry requirements are GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English at grade 4/C. Applicants are advised to submit a CV with their application; interviews may start as early as June 2026 and the vacancy may close earlier if sufficient applications are received.
