The Walton Centre offers work experience placements across its departments to introduce young people to the world of work and help them gain insight into possible career paths. The trust welcomes, supports and encourages placements in a range of areas, including both administrative and clinical settings.
Examples on the page include Health Records, IT, Finance and Procurement for school children aged 14 and above. It also highlights opportunities for young people aged 16 and above in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Medical Neurology, with some placements for prospective medical students.
If you are interested in a placement, you are asked to email the work experience team with as much information as possible, including your availability and areas of interest.
Location
- Open to young people aged 14 and above.
- Some placements are available for young people aged 16 and above.
- Some medical placements are available for young people aged 18 and above.
