Wandsworth Borough Council Wandsworth Moves Together Awards

The Wandsworth Moves Together Awards are an annual celebration of outstanding sport and physical activity across the borough. They recognise local sports performers, coaches, volunteers, teams, clubs and community projects that have made a strong impact through achievement, commitment, inclusion and participation.

The awards cover a wide range of categories, including club or organisation of the year, volunteer and young volunteer awards, coach or instructor of the year, active communities, active school, the mayor’s award, and individual sporting awards for junior and adult athletes. Nominees must have a clear connection to Wandsworth, and each nomination must address the published criteria for the relevant category.

Nominations are submitted through an online form. Nominators are asked to provide contact details, upload a photo of the nominee, and give evidence showing how the nominee meets the shortlisted criteria.

The process leads to shortlisting and then an in-person awards ceremony to celebrate the winners and finalists.
