Warehouse Operative Apprentice

This is a 15-month Level 2 apprenticeship with Showplace Limited for a Warehouse Operative based at 3 Stour House, Clifford Park, Stratford (CV37 8HW). As an apprentice you will be employed by the company and spend at least 20% of your time in regular training with a college or training organisation (Intec Business Colleges Limited).

The role involves building and installing pods/structures/exhibition stands, workshop assembly duties and onsite deployment across the UK, with some outdoor work expected.

Typical duties include learning and working with the site team at different locations, picking and preparing equipment for sites, loading and unloading vehicles (forklift training provided where age-appropriate), painting, cleaning and assembling equipment, undertaking repairs, and maintaining workshop/yard organisation. Functional skills in maths and English will be included if required, and the apprenticeship includes an End-Point Assessment (EPA).

The annual wage is £15,704 for the first year only. On successful completion apprentices may be offered a full-time position; additional progression includes health and safety courses and the possibility of a forklift licence (age dependent).
