This Level 2 Warehouse Operative Apprenticeship with STAX Converting Ltd is a hands-on role based at their Hindley Green/Wigan site. The role involves following health & safety and quality procedures, waste handling, palletisation/finishing goods, order picking, general housekeeping and some administrative and communication duties.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm (38 hours per week).

You will train on the job and spend time away from the workplace with the training provider (The National Logistics Academy Ltd) to gain the Supply Chain Warehouse Operative (Level 2) qualification. Typical learning includes safe working practices, receiving/storing/dispatching products, using tools and equipment, IT and digital systems, stocktaking, packaging, environmental procedures, and communication skills.

The apprenticeship requires travel between the Hindley and Bolton sites as part of the training schedule.

Essential entry requirements are GCSEs in English and Maths (grade C). Applicants should demonstrate good timekeeping, a strong work ethic and physical fitness. The apprenticeship starts on 8 December 2025 and is for one year.
