Want to earn while you learn in construction? Join Wates' Higher & Degree Apprenticeships to gain a Level 4 foundation, paid placements, mentoring and the chance to progress to a degree and professional chartership - build skills, experience and your career.

Wates' Higher and Degree Apprenticeship programme offers a structured earn-while-you-learn pathway for candidates who do not already hold a degree. The programme begins with a Level 4 construction-related qualification to provide the technical foundation, and successful apprentices may progress onto a Degree Apprenticeship and ultimately professional chartership.

During the programme you will receive mentoring, placement opportunities and an industry-recognised qualification, alongside on-the-job training and a clear career path with promotion opportunities. Benefits listed include a competitive salary, private medical insurance, employer pension contributions, car allowance or company car where applicable, health and wellness support, and 26 days holiday plus bank holidays.

To be eligible you must have GCSEs grade 4/C or above in Maths and English, plus a minimum of two A Levels (or equivalent Level 3 qualifications such as T-Levels) at grades DD or above. Some roles require a full driving licence by the programme start; check individual job details for specific requirements and locations.
