Want hands-on training and a recognised qualification? Join Wates Level 2 and 3 apprenticeships to build practical skills in trades or support roles, gain health and safety experience, and earn industry-recognised qualifications while working on real projects that boost your career or uni prospects.

Wates offers a range of Level 2 and Level 3 apprenticeships that combine on-the-job experience with structured training to deliver an industry-recognised qualification. Apprenticeships cover a variety of roles across the built environment, including administrative support, building services engineering, joinery/carpentry, customer service, electrical works, facilities support, HR, property maintenance, and plumbing.

The programmes emphasise practical skills, health and safety, teamwork, and communication.

Applicants need GCSEs at grade 4/C or above in Maths and English and do not need prior work experience. Wates looks for motivated candidates who can collaborate with colleagues, manage priorities and take a proactive approach to their development.

Shortlisted applicants are invited to interview and successful candidates typically start with Wates in the summer.

To register interest and be notified when early-career vacancies open, candidates can sign up via the careers site. The apprenticeships provide hands-on experience, formal training and a recognised qualification to kick-start a career in the construction and built environment sector.
