Deadline passed 30 days agoARCHIVED

Wells Cathedral School is accepting scholarship applications for entry into Years 7, 9 and 10. Candidates may apply for a range of scholarships including Academic, Art, Drama, Mathematics, Music (general) and Sport.

The application process includes completion of the online scholarship form, submission of a handwritten essay titled 'More about you', and provision of school referee details; on submission the referee will be emailed a reference request.

Music and sport applicants should prepare for auditions/assessments: the form asks which instrument will be used for any audition, and sport scholarship applicants are asked to specify two sports for assessment (with permitted sports listed by gender on the form). External candidates must also return a registration form and pay the registration fee by the stated deadline.

Referees must complete their reference by 5 January 2026.

Further details and the full checklist (including registration instructions) are provided in the Scholarship Application Checklist linked from the form. Scholarships are competitive and will be reviewed annually; awards may be withdrawn if criteria are not maintained.
