Join the Wende Museum for a picture book illustration workshop led by author and illustrator Stephanie Lunkewitz. Across six sessions, participants explore the creative process behind children’s books, with a focus on storytelling, observational drawing, blending real life with fantasy, illustration techniques, character design, and storyboarding.
The workshop is designed for people who want to develop their own stories, create illustrations, or simply learn more about how picture books are made. It is open to families, adults, and young people aged 15 and up, with minors required to attend alongside an adult.
Participants can attend any or all sessions, making it flexible for different interests and schedules. The overall experience combines practical drawing and narrative skills with inspiration from nature and imaginative visual storytelling in a museum setting.
