The Whitaker Museum and Art Gallery Work Experience

The Whitaker Museum and Art Gallery offers work experience placements for secondary school students, college students, and other young people who want to build skills for further study or employment. The placements are designed to be inclusive and accessible, with applications welcomed from learners of all backgrounds.

Successful applicants will be matched with a placement that is intended to be rewarding, supportive, and fun. The experience is based at The Whitaker in Rawtenstall and is a chance to gain practical insight into a museum and art gallery environment while developing confidence and transferable skills.
