Willow Creek Care Center - Back to School Bash Volunteer Opportunities

Willow Creek Care Center’s Back to School Bash prepares thousands of students for the new school year by providing backpacks, school supplies, complimentary haircuts, new clothing, medical exams, entertainment and other services. The event aims to equip students with necessary supplies while building their confidence for the start of the school year.

Volunteers are invited to help by sorting backpacks and school supplies, greeting children and families, assisting guests in the Clothing Store, providing hairstyling or medical services (dental and optical) where qualified, distributing popcorn and treats, and supporting other event activities. Volunteers can choose the date and area they'd like to serve but are asked to remain flexible as staff may redeploy volunteers based on needs.

The Back to School Bash runs on Thursday, July 23; Friday, July 24; and Saturday, July 25, 2026. To serve, volunteers must select a date/time and location, and complete (or already be cleared through) Willow’s Protection Application.

Volunteers under age 15 must be accompanied by an adult for shifts.
