Capture key decisions and action points at committee meetings, then draft clear minutes with guidance before they’re reviewed and circulated. You’ll work with the team and gain insight into strategic discussions, with attendance arranged on mutually convenient days.
The Wirral Society is looking for a Volunteer Minute-taker to support its committee meetings and help keep its work moving forward. The role involves attending meetings, listening carefully to discussions, and producing clear, concise minutes that capture the key decisions and action points.
It is a practical behind-the-scenes role for someone who enjoys organised admin work and wants to contribute to a local organisation in a meaningful way.
You will work collaboratively with the team to identify the most important information from conversations, then draft the minutes with guidance and support before they are reviewed and circulated. This is a flexible volunteering opportunity, with attendance arranged directly with the provider on mutually convenient days.
It would suit someone with a keen ear, good attention to detail, and an interest in the Society’s work, as well as anyone who wants to gain insight into strategic discussions and play an active part in helping the organisation progress effectively.
