World Melody Music Competition is an open online music competition for performers and creators across a wide range of disciplines. It welcomes instrumentalists, singers, conductors, composers, chamber music performers, music video creators and writers, with entries judged on technique, musicianship, expressiveness, presentation and creativity.
The competition is organised into a large set of categories, including age-based sections from Prodigy through to Professional, as well as repertoire-based and format-based classes such as Baroque, Classical, Romantic, Modern, Own Composition, Duo Performance, Chamber Group, National Music, Concerto, Sonata, Etude, Musical Theatre, Film/Game Music, Orchestra, Creative Video, Innovative Writing, Conducting, Choir/Ensemble and CD Album.
Entries are typically submitted as video, audio, PDF or other digital files, and some categories allow more than one piece while others restrict entrants to a single work. Category-specific limits apply to performance length and repertoire requirements, so applicants should choose the section that best matches their age, instrument and style of performance.
