Wymbs Engineering Limited - Apprentice Welder Fabricator (36318)

Wymbs Engineering Limited is recruiting an Apprentice Welder Fabricator to join their busy workshop in Poynton. This hands-on role involves learning metal manufacturing and finishing techniques, including reading and interpreting drawings, measuring and marking out, cutting, forming and fabricating metal components, and using welding methods such as TIG, MIG and MMA.

You will learn to use hand fitting tools, set up and use joining equipment, grind and finish products, and follow health and safety procedures.

The apprenticeship includes off-the-job specialist training delivered by The Growth Company Limited and leads to a Level 3 Metal Fabricator qualification. The role is full time (40 hours a week, Monday to Friday), starts on 5 January 2026 and runs for approximately 3 years and 6 months.

Wages are advertised between £15,704 and £25,396. 80 per year depending on age.
