Curious what studying physics at Oxford is like? Join the University of Oxford Physics Year 12 Taster Morning in November to explore core topics through interactive workshops, connect with current undergraduates, and build clarity for your application and future study.

Deadline passed 36 days agoARCHIVED

This online taster morning is an introduction to studying physics at university specifically designed for Year 12 (or equivalent) students considering applying to Oxford. The event showcases core areas of the subject through interactive workshops and offers insight into what it is like to study physics at the University of Oxford.

Attendees will hear from current undergraduates via a panel where you can ask questions about student life and the course. The session is aimed at students with existing knowledge of physics and will cover material similar to other Department of Physics outreach events, though with some unique content.

Registration is required in advance for live attendance. The live session is prioritised for UK Year 12 students at state (non-fee-paying) schools studying A levels (or equivalent) in Maths and Physics; however, anyone may register to receive the recording.

If the event becomes over-subscribed, priority will be given to students from the specified schools and those with little or no history of applications to Oxford.
