This online taster morning is an introduction to studying physics at university for Year 12 students who are considering physics at Oxford. It is designed for students who are interested in the subject, but who may not yet be certain about studying physics or about Oxford itself.
The event includes interactive workshops showcasing some favourite parts of the subject, alongside a talk about what it is like to study physics at Oxford. Students will also be able to put their questions to a panel of current undergraduates, making it a useful opportunity to hear directly from people already on the course.
It is aimed at students in Year 12, or equivalent, who are studying A levels, or their equivalent, in Maths and Physics. Places must be booked in advance using the registration form, and the event is delivered online.
