Curious about studying physics at uni? Join Oxford Physics' online Year 10 Taster Morning to explore astrophysics with interactive workshops, build practical skills, and get honest answers from undergraduates. Live 25 April or on-demand - apply by 20 April 2026.

Deadline in 110 days

This online taster morning offers Year 10 students an introduction to studying physics and astrophysics at university. The session will showcase key aspects of the subjects through interactive workshops and provide insights into what studying physics at university involves.

A panel of current undergraduates will be available to answer questions.

The live event takes place on 25 April 2026 from 10:00-12:45 (UK local time). The session will also be made available as on-demand videos for later catch-up; live attendees can interact and ask questions via the webinar platform. Registration is required in advance.

This event is specifically targeted at Year 10 students at state (non-fee-paying) schools who are studying Maths and Physics, though additional places may be opened if capacity allows. If oversubscribed, priority is given to students from the target schools and those with little or no history of applications to Oxford.
