Serve customers, prepare food and keep the café welcoming at a nature reserve visited by wildlife fans and families. Join the café team for a few hours each week, helping visitors enjoy homemade food and drinks in a friendly setting.

Help out in the café at Potteric Carr Nature Reserve, a busy stop for visitors enjoying the reserve, families on wildlife outings, and people popping in for lunch. Volunteers support the café team and help create a welcoming experience for visitors who come to enjoy homemade food and drinks in a friendly setting.

The role involves serving customers, preparing food, and helping keep the café clean and presentable. It is a good fit for people who enjoy meeting new people, working as part of a team, and providing great customer service in a busy hospitality environment.

Volunteering is on a weekly basis, with the opportunity to help on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. If you can spare a few hours each week and want to contribute to a nature reserve café, Yorkshire Wildlife Trust would like to hear from you.
