Yorkshire Wildlife Trust Practical Conservation Task Day at North Cave Wetlands

Join Yorkshire Wildlife Trust for a practical conservation task day at North Cave Wetlands Nature Reserve. This outdoor volunteering opportunity involves hands-on reserve management work, giving you the chance to support wildlife habitat care while getting stuck into useful tasks on site.

Sessions run weekly on Thursdays and usually last from 10am until 4pm. The work is outdoors, so volunteers should be prepared for changing conditions and weather-dependent adjustments to the day. Tools and gloves are provided, but you will need to bring your own packed lunch, plenty to drink, sturdy shoes or boots, old clothes you do not mind getting dirty, and waterproofs if needed.

If you are new to the site, you should contact the volunteer lead before attending to check the task day details and let them know you are coming. New volunteers are also asked to provide emergency contact details and relevant medical details before they begin, so the team can respond quickly if there is an incident.
