Young Doctors Program Oxford 2026: Summer Boarding

Young Doctors Program Oxford is a two-week summer boarding course hosted at Headington Oxford designed for teens interested in medicine and healthcare. The programme offers 15 hours of academic tuition per week in small classes (maximum 15 students) and combines practical, hands-on learning with medical science, clinical simulations and ethics to introduce anatomy, physiology, pathology and diagnostics.

Participants take part in workshops, case studies, first-aid training and simulated clinical exercises, and explore ethical issues in healthcare and routes to medical study. Each session includes three full-day supervised excursions (London guaranteed).

The course aims to build teamwork, communication, analytical skills and a clearer understanding of what medical study involves.

Boarding accommodation (separate houses for boys and girls), all meals and travel insurance are included for boarding participants. The programme finishes with a "Time to Shine" presentation and awards an end-of-course report and certificate.
