Young Founders Lab is an online entrepreneurship programme for high school students (Grades 9 6) focused on turning ideas into real startups or non-profits through mentorship-led, hands-on venture building. Programmes run fully online and combine live interactive workshops, small-team or one-to-one mentoring, readings and practical assignments.
Core outcomes include team-developed venture concepts, pitch decks and competition-ready submission materials. Three main pathways are offered: a 3-week Summer Group Program (daily, Monday to Friday), a 10-week Pitch Competition Prep Program (selected cohorts), and a 12-week Individual Program with personalised one-to-one mentorship and flexible start dates.
The experience emphasises execution, pitching and practical venture development rather than formal academic assessment; no formal academic credit is granted. Admissions are selective and involve an online application and interview for shortlisted candidates.
Tuition examples for 2026 are listed as USD $3,490 (Summer Group), $4,190 (Pitch Prep) and $3,990 (Individual). Merit scholarships and need-based financial aid are available, and a refundable $200 deposit secures a place if accepted.
The fully online format makes the programmes accessible across time zones.
No formal academic credit awarded; programme deliverables include a venture concept, pitch deck and competition-ready materials (practical outputs rather than accredited credit).
