The Young Media Manager Summer Experience at InvestIN

The Young Media Manager Summer Experience is an immersive 1-2 week summer school based at UCL and the University of London campus, designed for students aged 15 6. Across hands-on projects and professional visits you will learn branding, social media strategy, campaign design, podcast production, and live-broadcast skills under the guidance of journalists, publicists and media strategists.

The programme includes practical workshops (editing, digital content creation, trend analysis), studio visits and pitching tasks. Participants complete assessed work and an online assessment to earn a Level 3 Award in Work Experience and Career Planning (8 UCAS points), plus a personalised certificate and industry reference to support university applications.

Students can choose residential or non-residential attendance; residential students stay in University of London halls (single en-suite rooms) with meals, guardianship and organised social activities. Private networking sessions, career coaching and portfolio development are also included.
