Join a two-week Brilliant Ed summer school to explore finance, trading simulations and entrepreneurship, build presentation, teamwork and critical thinking skills, and connect with industry to boost your uni and career prospects.
This two-week, immersive summer school at Kings College London introduces motivated high-school students (ages 13-17) to business, global finance and entrepreneurship through academic workshops, trading simulations, industry-led sessions and a capstone project. Participants will study financial markets, investment strategies, corporate sustainability and entrepreneurship while practising presentation, teamwork and critical thinking skills.
The programme includes hands-on activities such as a Shark Tankstyle capstone project with industry-endorsed certification, stock market and private equity simulations, sessions on crypto & DeFi, and startup branding using the Business Model Canvas. Industry exposure is provided through visits including a startup hub and the Bank of England, plus a London Academy of Trading visit featuring a live trading simulation and competition.
Students stay in supervised university residences near Waterloo Bridge with on-site facilities. The programme provides supervised excursions (e. g.
, St Pauls Cathedral, London Aquarium), evening social activities and a final graduation celebration. Admissions and booking require paying a deposit, completing an enrolment form and awaiting confirmation before booking travel.
