The Young Vet Summer Experience is a hands-on, immersive veterinary work experience and summer school run in central London by InvestIN Education. Across practical simulations, site visits and professional coaching, students step into the role of small-animal, equine, farm and wildlife vets to practise examinations, diagnostics and simulated surgical procedures under expert supervision.
The programme includes career and admissions coaching tailored to aspiring veterinary applicants: sessions on A-level/IB subject choices, UCAS personal statements, interview techniques and professional networking with practising vets. Students who complete the assessment for the appropriate package receive a Level 3 Award in Work Experience (8 UCAS points), a personalised certificate and an industry reference letter.
Delivery is in person on the UCL and University of London campus in central London, with options for residential (university halls) or non-residential attendance. Participants can choose 1-week, 2-week or 2-week Premium packages; the programme begins on 27 July 2026.
Residential students are provided with single ensuite rooms, meals, pastoral care and optional airport transfers.

Programme fees start at £2,225 for the 1-week option. 2-week and premium options are priced at £3,275 and £4,400 respectively. Residential package totals are available (programme + accommodation) and airport transfers are available at checkout. A non-refundable £950 deposit secures a place.
