The Vet Summer Experience is an immersive veterinary medicine programme in London for students aged 15-18. It is designed for aspiring vets who want practical exposure to the field, and it combines hands-on simulations with guided learning, coaching and professional networking.
Across the programme, participants step into the role of a vet through clinical examinations, diagnosis tasks, surgery simulations, animal-care scenarios and site visits. The experience covers small animal practice, farm animals, equine care, wildlife and digital health, while also introducing ethical issues and the different career paths within veterinary medicine.
Students also receive university application support, including coaching on vet school admissions, interview preparation and personal statements. The programme can include residential accommodation at UCL halls in central London, meals for residential students, safeguarding support and optional airport transfers.
Participants can also complete an assessment to earn a Level 3 Award in Work Experience & Career Planning, along with a certificate and industry reference letter.

£2,290
Programme fee starts at £2,290 for the 1-week option; £3,685 for the 2-week option; and £4,620 for the 2-week Enhanced option. Residential package totals start at £3,865, £6,995 and £7,930 respectively. Optional London airport transfers (Heathrow return) are available for £300 on the 2-week package.
