Yunex Traffic is recruiting an Apprentice Field Services Engineer for a Level 3 apprenticeship. This four-year programme combines on-the-job training with college study, enabling apprentices to earn while they learn, gain a recognised Level 3 qualification and develop technical skills working on traffic signal assets, intelligent urban traffic control systems and related highways equipment.

As an apprentice you will undertake installation, maintenance, fault diagnosis and remedial works on traffic signal equipment, using relevant hand and power tools, working at height aids and digital fault-management systems. The role involves working as part of a team and sometimes unsupervised, liaising with customers and other contractors, and completing high-quality clearance and service records in line with contract requirements.

The position is based in Belfast, Northern Ireland with travel to other Yunex Traffic sites and your respective college required for training. Applicants must meet the minimum educational requirements, hold a full driving licence, have the Right to Work in the UK and be available to start on 1 September 2026.
