Voluntary Action Harrow

Take part in themed volunteer and training events celebrating Harrow’s wildlife and green spaces. Support local parks and conservation groups, build practical skills and connect with nature, with training, induction and ongoing guidance provided.

Lead or support health walks around Harrow, helping participants feel included and get active. Walk Leaders plan and risk-assess routes; Walk Assistants welcome walkers and help with admin. Training includes two e-learning modules, shadowing a walk and a three-hour session online or in person.

Create accessible posters, booklets and social media posts in Canva, helping publish resources that make healthcare, social services and community activities easier to find. Work remotely or from the office.
